About

My name is Connor. Given enough time, I’m interested in just about everything. However, I’m really interested in philosophy, literature, machine learning, neuroscience, affective computing, evolutionary thinking, the psychology of myth and religion, composing music, brazillian jiu jitsu, and consciousness. I also choose to believe life is meaningful, which I feel is important to share.

I hold a masters degree in plant biology because I find the natural world to be utterly fascinating. In the past, I’ve taught undergraduate courses and published research in academia. I also used to design and make footwear. Then I realized how important computers are. Now I do machine learning with a focus on affective computing.
